Dear Residents,

Notification of Upcoming Cladding Remediation Works

We are writing to introduce ourselves as HRS Cladding. We are the contractor that has been appointed to carry out cladding/brickwork remediation works on the City Edge Apartment building. HRS Cladding have extensive experience in delivering safe and efficient cladding remediation projects, specialising in works on occupied residential buildings.

We understand that living in a building under construction can be disruptive, and we are committed to minimising any inconvenience while maintaining the highest safety standards throughout the project.

Commencement of Works

We have been asked to get started on this project as soon as possible, which is why you will have already seen our temporary site compound be set up in the car park. The works will officially commence on 7th April 2026, with the following initial activities taking place:

• Scaffold installation: We will commence scaffolding to the entire building on Tuesday 7^th April. The Royce Road elevation will be the first to be erected, we will then work our way back around the City road elevation and back towards the car park.

This inevitably creates noise and will mean operatives are working outside of apartment windows. Working times are 8am – 5pm Mon-Fri, there will be no disturbance outside of these times.

• Brickwork Removal: This will commence on the Royce Road elevation in around 4 weeks. We will give a more detailed update on this closer to the time.

Expected Disturbance

While we aim to keep disruption to a minimum, there will be intermittent noise during the works that are simply unavoidable. Please be assured that we will take all reasonable steps to reduce noise levels as much as possible and will schedule particularly noisy activities during standard working hours.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during these essential works.

Further Communication

We recognise that these works may be quite daunting at this stage and we will provide a more detailed update prior to further works commencing, this will give a better idea of:

• The sequence of works and key milestones.
• Site access arrangements and any potential impact on residents.
• Contact details for the site management team.

We will also have a dedicated project website where you will find regular updates on what works are planned. The link to this will be made available as soon as the webpage is live.
