Progress Update
Elevations 3B, 3 & 5
Works have progressed well on Elevation 3B above the bin store area, with continued advancement across this section.
On Elevations 3 and 5, cladding installation works are now complete. These areas are currently awaiting the installation of window flashings and associated sealant works, which will complete the external envelope details.
Elevation 4
On Elevation 4, all existing materials have now been fully removed and the elevation has been made weatherproof. This provides a secure base for the next stage of works.
The replacement of Juliet balconies on this elevation is currently subject to government approval. Once approval is received, works will be able to progress further without delay.
Elevation 5B
A mast climber has now been installed to Elevation 5B, enabling access for the next phase of cladding removal and associated remediation works in this area.
Key Milestones
The project has recently achieved several important milestones, including:
- Completion of cladding installation to Elevations 3 and 5
- Installation of an additional mast climber to support ongoing façade works
- Progression of design coordination items required to enable final completion works on Elevations 3 and 5
Upcoming Works
Over the coming month, planned activities will include:
- Installation of window flashings and sealant works to Elevations 3 and 5
- Installation of cladding support systems to Elevation 3B
- Commencement of cladding removal works to Elevation 5B
- Potential installation of a mast climber to Elevation 6 to support future phases of works
Potential Disruption
As works increase in intensity on Elevation 5B, residents in adjacent areas may notice an increase in noise levels during working hours.
In addition, the delivery and installation of the mast climber to Elevation 6 may result in short-term traffic disruption. This will be a one-off delivery, and the project team intends to carry this out early in the morning to avoid peak traffic periods. We kindly ask for residents’ patience during this time.
We would like to thank all residents for their continued understanding and cooperation while these essential improvement works continue to progress.
Kind regards,
The HRS Cladding Team
