We would like to provide you with an update on the ongoing cladding and brickwork remediation works being carried out at the development. Our team remains committed to completing the project safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to residents wherever possible.
Progress Over the Past Month
Good progress has been made on site throughout April. The scaffolding installation commenced at the beginning of the month and has now been fully completed, allowing access for the upcoming remediation works.
A resident information meeting was also held recently to outline the planned programme of works, discuss the next stages of the project, and answer any questions from residents. We appreciate the engagement and cooperation shown by everyone who attended – a breakdown of what was discussed is also available on this website.
The first goods hoist is scheduled to be installed on 7th May 2026, with installation and commissioning expected to be completed the same day, including the issue of all required handover certification.
Key Milestones Achieved
Several important project milestones have now been reached, including:
- Completion of access scaffold
- Completion of coordination meetings with the client and project stakeholders
- Approval of the Temporary Traffic Regulation Order (TTRO)
- Preparation for the main site set-up phase, scheduled to commence from 18th May 2026
These milestones allow the project to move into the next stage of construction activities.
Upcoming Works
Over the coming month, residents can expect to see the following activities taking place on site:
- Introduction of a new permanent Site Manager
- Deliveries that will assist with the commencement of the project such as a telehandler / skips / welfare cabins.
- Commencement of brickwork stripping works from 11th May 2026, following the agreed sequence of works
- Installation of an additional goods hoist and access tower on the roadside elevation week commencing 18th May 2026
All works will continue to be carefully planned and monitored to ensure safety and maintain progress in line with the programme.
Potential Disruption
During the upcoming site set-up activities, there may be minor temporary disruption to pedestrians in the immediate vicinity of the building as well as short term closure of city road whilst cabins are being delivered. However, every effort will be made to minimise inconvenience, maintain safe access routes, and keep disruption to an absolute minimum.
We would like to thank all residents for your continued patience and cooperation while these important safety improvement works are undertaken.
Should you have any questions or concerns regarding the project, please do not hesitate to contact the site team in person or via the contact details below.
Kind regards,
The HRS Cladding Team
