Return to Project

Project Progress
After a busy start to the year, works on Phase 1 of the project are currently underway and progressing well. After works began, a number of unforeseen design issues were identified which required review and agreement before further works could proceed. This caused a short delay while solutions were finalised, but these matters have now largely been resolved and the project team is able to move forward at a much improved pace.

We are now making good progress across all three elevations of Phase 1, with installation works continuing to advance steadily.

Recent Milestones

  • Phase 1 works are now progressing at a faster pace following the resolution of earlier design matters.

  • Scaffolding for Phase 2 has now been successfully erected as part of our plan to help accelerate the overall programme.

  • Preparations are currently underway to begin works in the Phase 2 areas shortly

Upcoming Works (Next Month)
Over the coming month, works will continue across the Phase 1 areas as we move towards completing this section of the project. Structural and remedial works are complete, so installing cavity barriers and the new cladding system can progress.

At the same time, we will begin progressing works in Phase 2, with the aim of achieving a similar level of progress to that currently being seen in Phase 1. Works will initially commence with the removal of cladding withing balcony areas. Once these areas are weather tight, the remaining scaffold will be erected.

Potential Disruption
As works move into Phase 2, residents with balconies in these areas should be aware that balcony access will need to be temporarily restricted while our teams carry out the required works. We understand this may cause some inconvenience and we greatly appreciate your patience and cooperation while these works are completed safely. In addition, belongings and furniture will need to be removed.

HRS Cladding remain committed to carrying out the works as efficiently and safely as possible while minimising disruption to residents wherever we can. If you have any questions, concerns, or experience any issues during the works, please don’t hesitate to let us know so that we can assist and address them where possible.

You can contact the team by emailing info@hrscladding.com or alternately popping into the site office located on Simeon Street.
