Project Overview

As the principal contractor appointed to carry out cladding remediation works at The Anchorage apartment building in Southport, HRS is undertaking extensive improvements across all elevations of the building.

Following a detailed fire safety assessment, it was identified that enhancements to cavity barriers and compartmentation were necessary to meet current fire safety standards. In close partnership with Anthony James Property Management, Trident Building Consultancy, and our trusted network of specialist suppliers, we are delivering a comprehensive upgrade to the building envelope to ensure full compliance with Fire Safety and Building Regulations.

Throughout the project, all residential premises at The Anchorage will remain occupied. We understand the importance of minimising disruption, and HRS has implemented robust protocols to help ensure residents’ comfort and safety during the works.

The new brick façade has been carefully designed to match the existing finish, maintaining the building’s original character while offering a fresh, updated appearance through the use of high-quality replacement materials.

HRS is proud to play a meaningful role in enhancing the safety and resilience of not only this building, but residential communities across the country. We look forward to working collaboratively with residents and delivering a successful and considerate project.

News / Updates

Scaffolding for PHASE 2 of the project is due to commence on Monday 30th March – this is the side elevation of the kitchen showroom.

General disturbance should not be anything additional to the usual day to day activities on site, but will mean that apartments in this area will have scaffold in place outside of their windows.

Please feel free to contact the site team if you have any questions.
