Project Overview

As the principal contractor appointed to deliver cladding remediation works at Tobacco Factory in Manchester, HRS is undertaking the removal and replacement of combustible external wall materials identified behind the cladding façade between level 2 to level 5. Following a detailed fire safety assessment, the existing wall construction was found to be non-compliant with current Building Regulations. In partnership with Complete Property Management and Trident Building Consultancy, the project will upgrade the building envelope with fully compliant insulation and cladding systems.

All residential premises at Tobacco Factory will remain occupied throughout the works, with HRS implementing robust protocols to minimise disruption to residents as much as possible. The new façade will not only meet modern fire safety standards but also provide a refreshed architectural finish.
