We are pleased to share the latest update regarding the cladding remediation works at The Anchorage, Southport.

Scaffold Installation Completed

Scaffold erection was successfully completed on 26th May 2025, marking a key milestone in the project, this allows further works to progress from 27th May as planned. These works will initially include the following:

Site Set-Up
Welfare facilities and material storage will be established in the car park area. Temporary power and water connections will also be installed to support the works.

Investigation Works
Initial inspections will take place at various locations across the building envelope to assist with the final design. These will begin using a scissor lift on the footpath, before transitioning to more detailed investigations conducted from the scaffold.

Design Revisions and Revised Timeline

Following these investigations, our specialist consultants, including structural engineer, fire engineer and architect, will review the as built details to confirm that they align with the current design. If they do not, they will identify the need for any additional alterations.
